Tournament/Club Rules: 1. Our tournaments are for club members, their family members, or their guest per club rules. All members must be paid in full, for the season or partial season as applicable, prior to entering a club tournament. Memberships forms and fees must be received in full one week prior to a scheduled tournament. We will not collect money or membership paperwork at the ramp. Contact Robert to obtain membership forms. 2. Our membership dues consist of a $25 annual fee per angler plus $25 dollars per tournament for a two person team or $15 dollars per tournament for a single team. For a two man team, the annual fee would be $250 dollars or $125 per team member. The annual fee for a single man team is $145 dollars. These pre-paid fees cover you for our entire season, the only additional charges will be launch fees if applicable. 3. Tourney payout will be as follows; 1st Place Total Team Weight- 50% of the pot 2nd Place Total Team Weight- 20% of the pot 3rd Place Total Team Weight- 10% of the pot Big Fish- 20% of the pot
4. We fish a team format. You can enter your team of two anglers or enter your team as a single angler. Once a team establishes themselves as a team by fishing a scheduled tournament together, they are not allowed to switch teams during a given season. However, two solo members can join forces but will establish their new team by taking the lower weight of the two teams year to date. 5. All teams, solo or two man, are allowed one guest per tournament season as long as one team member is present. Guest are not required to pay a tournament entry fee. 6. A team with only one angler can add a co-angler for the remainder of the season, provided the addition takes place on or before our July tournament and the prorated new membership fees are paid in full one week in advanced to the scheduled tournament. 7. Any new members or teams wishing to join must also be entered before on or before our July tournament. They will also need to pay a prorated membership fee for the remainder of the season. All membership paperwork and fees must be received one week prior to a scheduled tournament. 8. Members wives or children 16 & under can fish anytime with a member, their weights are counted. They are not required to pay a membership fee. 9. All participants must be at least eighteen years old unless fishing with a parental guardian. 10. Limit two (2) anglers per boat. 11. All boaters are to maintain the required boating safety equipment. Wearing of Coast Guard approved flotation device and use of kill switches if equipped are required when the big motor is running and you're underway. Reckless or unsafe boating are grounds for termination from club events. 12. All participants are to possess a current Virginia and North Carolina freshwater fishing license. 13. Five (5) bass limit per boat. Twelve (12) inch minimum length limit when weigh-in is conducted in VA. Fourteen (14) inch minimum when weigh-in is conducted in NC. Fish that do not meet the minimum length limit will not be weighed and the team will be assessed a four (4) ounce penalty per fish. 14. Courtesy measurements at the weigh in station are not allowed. However, members can ask another member to measure their fish prior to bringing their fish to the weigh in station. Once your fish are dropped into the weigh-in sink, they are deemed entered into the official weigh-in. 15. A four ounce (4) penalty will be assessed for each dead fish at weigh-in. A dead fish is defined as any fish that is unable to swim off on its own after weigh-in. Anglers will be given ample time to try and revive the fish before being penalized. 16. At no time are you to possess more than five fish. Possession of more than five fish, at any point during the tourney, results in an automatic disqualification for that particular tournament. In other words, your weight will not be counted for that tourney or the year end standings. 17. All boats must be equipped with a livewell. All livewell's will be inspected prior to blast off. Stringers or buckets are not allowed. 18. All participates are to use artificial baits only. No live bait should be on board during club tournaments. 19. All tournaments will begin at safelight and conclude at 2pm unless otherwise noted. Teams not arriving prior to blast off will not be allowed to enter the scheduled tournament. Blast off is defined as the moment the tourney director instructs the first boat to take off. 20. Boaters not arriving back to the finish line by weigh-in time, will be assessed a 1/2 pound penalty for every minute they are late. Those ten minutes or more late will be disqualified. Arriving back at the finish line is defined as, your boat being beached or on your trailer at the launch location. Your watches must be synchronized with the tournament director. 21. No team is to fish within 25 yards of another member. The member second to arrive is required to relocate. 22. Landing nets are permitted. 23. Only one rod and reel, per angler, in use at all times. No trolling allowed. 24. Team total weight ties will be broken by big fish. Big Fish ties will split the winnings. 25. There are no refunds of membership fees or tournament fees. 26. It is the responsibility of all teams to ensure their livewells have been checked prior to blast off. Failure to have your livewells checked prior to blast off is an automatic disqualification. 27. Launch order will be determined by a draw, at the conclusion of each weigh-in, for the next scheduled tournament. Those not in attendance for the draw will be placed at the end of the blast off. 28. If a scheduled tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be fished the following Saturday at the originally scheduled location. 29. Members are not allowed to enter into a tournament with a non-participant on board. 30. A member can have their membership revoked for un-sportsman like conduct or conduct unbecoming of the club. After a warning from the Board of Director's the member will be given ample time to correct their actions prior to membership revocation. 31. The Board of Director's will make decisions on club matters, rulings not addressed by our club rules, or any necessary in-season changes. 32.
